GENERATION CONNECT: YOUTH4CYBER: WHAT IS IT?

To better engage youth, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has the pleasure to announce Generation Connect Youth4Cyber, an initiative that aims at developing a global network of student-led associations in universities through activities related to cybersecurity, with the assistance of ITU and partners.

Generation Connect Youth4Cyber will introduce and expose young people to the cybersecurity field and help them learn about cybersecurity in engaging ways, and understand its implications, to ultimately encourage them to take on the cybersecurity challenges of tomorrow.

The main goal of the initiative is to guide youth in their cybersecurity professional journey by creating a global network of students and young people as active agents, equipping them to understand and be passionate about cybersecurity challenges across disciplines, while allowing them to have fun, learn and contribute with knowledge and ideas, ultimately making them ready to be valuable additions to the leadership of tomorrow.
